Best Multiple Vortex Tornado

I ditto Brandon with the Edmonton tornado. Anyone ever count how many vortices are rotating around it at once? Absolutely incredible footage.

My vote is for the Nicollet Tornado from Aug 24,2006. Im pretty sure the video mentioned above by Bob was from the day.

I second this vote - but then again I may be a bit biased since it happened near where I live. Anyhow, here are a couple videos of the same tornado for anyone who is interested...

Video 1: Filmed by a couple Minnesota State University students
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adsfGUqJyjA

Video 2: Filmed by the 'Twister Sisters'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kzwti6AWn8Y

Video 1 is a more comprehensive video of the entire lifespan of the tornado while video 2 shows more of the tornado early in its development as its just trying to get going and also shows the multiple vortices up close and personal. Both videos are very cool IMO...

I've heard reference to the crazy farmer nebraska tornado, but I dont know what it is. I've probably seen the video but dont know thats what is being refered to. Anyone have a link to video of this tornado, or when it occured. As for MV tornadoes, I have yet to see really good multi-vortex tornadic structure. The Mulvane tornado had multiple vorticies at times, but we werent in goo position to view them when it was going on. Oh well, it's one of them tornado firsts I'm waiting for, 2 tornadoes plainly visible on the ground at the same time (ala May 15, 2003), along with my first EF-4 or 5.

That Edmond Canada one is pretty darn sweet, given it's age and the fact that I've never seen it before, it ranks right up there among my current favs. Something about old videos I enjoy, I think it just makes me think how hard they had to work to be a good chaser back then. Another sweet video of a multi-vortex is this clip from :05-:45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNzmZtulA-Y Seems 2008 was the year of the Multi-Vortex, at least for me; in fact I'd almost rather get some "typical" tornadoes a couple times, just seemed everything I saw last year tended to be quickly morphing/multi-vortex. Like a lot of others Glen Elder is probably my best multi-vortex tornado to date, not saying much as I don't have many others to compare it to; some segments of it on this clip... http://www.vimeo.com/4991073
