• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

The leftover wedge from that day in which I believe it was only me and Jon Davies and maybe 3 or 4 other chasers around. I have never seen any other videos or pictures of this storm. Jon Davies wrote up a case study about it, but I can't seem to find that anymore. Anyone have any other photos of this storm or know anyone that does? I have a 30-45 long video from this chase and through the 3 hours I chased this storm from Pratt to Wichita, I didn't see a soul. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One of my finest chases. Unfortunately, I had to resort to the web archive to find my chase page from that day. Jay Antle and I were a couple of the other "3 or 4" you speak of. Most everyone else that day was chasing in western Oklahoma. I still need to re-upload a bunch of archive material back onto underthemeso.com. After some exhaustive searching, I was able to come across this archived page showing all my stills from this tornado:

wow. Thanks a lot Mike! Sorry for the trouble but I finally found my set of pictures from this day and always wondered who else was on this (I recall seeing your pictures way back in 01) and never knew what happened to them.

Added a very quick video, done in poor quality and sped up to show this supercell and its approach just before dropping a wedge that Mike posted just above. My cpu is having issues lol So I just video taped my screen for the time being......Will post higher quality later on in the week.
