Another Amazing Upclose Tornado Video Shot Outside the U.S.

This one is apparently shot in South America (note the Anticyclonic rotation)
It's pretty heart stopping, especially from near the middle through to the end.
The storm went right through this fellow's back yard!
Debris lifts off his garage.
Two friends walk by outside even as damage is occurring!!!
The lush green grass, trees and nearby two lane road reminds me of somewhere in East Texas.

I gotta say.... From this video itself, it looks a lot more like a straight-line/downburst event. First, there's no obvious change in wind direction after the "core" passes. Second, the wind bursts seem to coincide with precipitation bursts. Third, I don't see any power flashes from what appear to be power lines across the road. Fourth, the damage and debris such as is visible seems to be directed downward and horizontal with no upward motion apparent. Fifth, the intensity looks to be well within the parameters of a severe downburst. FWIW.

Thank you for your observations, David.. I noted that the winds were moving from an apparent west to east motion through most of the video, but in the end, clouds were circulating northwest and north behind the core back toward the photographer and appeared to have a spin.

It seems pretty difficult to say for sure what is in the video. At times it does appear to be a simple straight-line wind event, but during the middle of the video when most of the debris goes flying, it seems there is a wedge shaped figure in the clouds in the background. I see rapidly moving cloud tags that might suggest a very wide tornado in a low-LCL environment. This is also consistent with the winds as the feature passes from straight on (center of view during most of the video) to left of the videographer during the video.

Nice find, Stephen! I actually surfed into this vid awhile back. Although not sure what it was that lifted the neighbor's roof off, I do know that there were plenty of other videos of this event, and without a doubt....there were numerous tornadoes filmed, including a major one. Whatever the main culprit was during that storm, I would have loved to have been right there next to those guys filming. I'll give them the "brass pellotas" award for December, as they were amateurs to boot. One heck of a storm. It makes me wonder how many times that area gets action like that.
