• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

A possible new chase ride

THis is just too funny, but is it a sign? That's the question.....hmmmm

I took the Xterra to a mechanic about an hour ago. When I left, the door handle on my apartment came loose and almost feel off. Everything checked out at the mechanic and I came back home. I was ready to sit down at home and do some figuring. Anyway, when I walked in the apartment, I shut the door and the inside and outside door handle feel off. So what you ask? Now, I can't even get out of the apartment!!! I called maintenance, and all their maintenace guys are busy right now. Also, the guy that I was dealing with at the dealer got an unexpected call and is now out of town until Monday! Maybe now isn't the time for a new vehicle. If I go with the latest happenings, it clearly points in that direction.

Well, another chapter unfolds in my life. First time buying a used car and the best experience I have ever had when dealing with the purchase of a vehicle. For anyone in this area...Bob Duby motors is the place to go for a fair price on a nice used vehicle. I'll go back, that's for sure. I'll post photos later tonight.

You know, I always made fun of people that say they got sad when they got rid of a car. I actually did get a little sad because I've had a lot of good memories in that thing. Great chases the past 8 years, and on and on it goes...Goodbye yellow truck

Well, here are a few photos of the Xterra...

Thanks Dennis! Yep, time to get to work in case I go chasing Sunday. I have to work Monday, but I have plenty of time to chase later in the year.
