Things have already been active here in IL. Tornado warned cell glazed the east side of Peoria with a wall cloud reported in Tazwell County. Peoria had 2" of rain in an hour with lots of streets flooding and cars stalled out. This storm had a nice hook echo with strong meso couplet. Other storms in N. IL do not look impressive reflectivity wise, but most exhibiting some low level rotation.

Tornado watch just issued for N. IL and IN including Chicago. Could be an interesting morning/afternoon today.

Well I am glad I got 4 hour sleep last night, because I am NOT extremely tired right now.... /sarcasm

A couple of interesting couplets due south of me in Livingston/Will/Kankakee Counties right now. Nothing too terribly strong right now. It seems like that supercell from PIA has finally petered out in Kankakee County but that new linear mess in La Salle County has caught my attention.

TOR warning out in the GRR CWA. Not too excited about the SVR potential today across southern MI, but rainfall potential looks significant.

We've picked up around 1.75 inches so far, and the rivers are already quite full. Radar shows more development of heavy rain and embedded thunder just to the west (1-2 inches/hour), so I suspect they'll be streaming through the rest of the afternoon/evening, into tonight.

Confirmed tornado near Paw Paw, MI...looks like the storms moved along an active warm front. Briefly had a stronger couplet between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, but that has since weakened.
