That flyover is really amazing. Very cool to see at 0:40 how it veered around that white house, although there appears to be some structure on the north side of that lot that took a direct hit.

You can chalk up another EF4 for Minnesota this year.....unreal.

I'm also very amazed at the number of large, violent tornadoes in MN. There's an argument as to whether 2004 was better than 2010 overall, but I think at a state level this year will be king for a long time. I did a quick tally today and it was something like 93 tornado reports this year. I'm not sure how many will stick, but there's a good chance at crushing the previous record of 71. We might even hit triple digits after this week!

There sure have been a lot of EF4 tornadoes this year and four of those occured in MN. Not nagging but I am surprised there has not been any tornadoes rated EF5 this year. The Holmes County ND and Sibley, Iowa EF4 tornadoes seemed to be some of the most violent even though they were over rural areas. Those two tornadoes were probably rated at the upper-end of EF4.

Found a video of the view from the west side. Had the angle been more SW looking northeast towards the core, it may have been a little Mulvane-ish with the white torn against the dark background.

Wow, amazing video. It looks a lot like my Manchester, SD video from June 24, 2003 after it hit the house and formed into a rope. Just uncanny.

Another tornado has been confirmed east of the EF4. The weirdest part is that I, along with 4-5 other MN chasers, were parked just southwest of where this tornado apparently touched down. None of us ever saw anything that made us think tornado, and all of us figured it was gusting out by this point. My best guess is that the tornado touched down after we started trying to catch up with it again, and it must've been rain wrapped too.

Not surprising given the motion that was displaying while I watched it live from beginning to end. What a treat it was to watch it, and I'm glad no one was hurt. Knowing it was rated EF4 just makes me think Andy was that much crazier getting so close

I believe one of the June 17th EF4s was actually in ND (the Holmes one).
