Thunderstorms blew up this afternoon along the cold front. One storm that caught my eye was a storm that was riding the cold front and an outflow boundary in the northern TX Panhandle. I only had to go about a quarter of a mile to get some interesting shots of the storm.

I was treated to a nice shelf-cloud and lightning display last night
along the Missouri River flood plain in NW MO.

The lightning activity was fairly slow leading up to this picture.

Instead of getting a strike in the rain shaft behind my truck, the lightning struck in the corn field about 1/4
mile from me. That scared the $h!t out of me! After that I went
stricktly with the window mount and captured the following images.
