• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

I put NM on the post because that is where I am posting from and left off others so feel free to edit as you see fit according to reports.

Wasn't expecting much today and then stepped outside to go home from work and saw some nice "rain" shafts a few miles away over Clovis. Once I got a mile I saw the first effects of the storm with the usual dust in the air from the high winds in this region. Then the wind was mixed to rain and slowed me down to 40 mph. I got a few thuds on the way home and thought maybe it was hail or some debris mixed in. Then about 1/2 mile from my house, the hail shaft found my car as well as my yard. It was basically white out conditions from hail. I tried to close my garage door and so much hail was coming in, it couldn't close. Well, I had a good laugh even though I am going to have a lot of yard work to do now. Hope everyone else had more interesting reports for today.

The storm that blew throught Council Grove at about 12:30 on Monday was the worst severe storm that I have been in. My dad called me about 12 waking me up and told me to go outside. This what I saw:

A tree fell on some powerlines across the river. And a tree fell on the house on the east side of town. Half the town was without power till about 8 in the evening possibly later.

I got a bit of lightning off of some severe storms in Western AR.
