Although not actually chasing today, I did catch a few shots of the thunderstorms which caused extreme flooding in western Oklahoma. I believe a flash flood warning or two was issued, and rains were intense as I passed through Elk City and Clinton, but I didn't stick around to observe any flooding.
Some rather interesting cloud structures (almost fooled my eyes for a second) formed as these storms initially went up. Turned out nothing more than ragged scud, but it was fun just getting to take pictures again (of storms.)
On the drive home, a pretty impressive shelf cloud formed just west of the wind farm west of Weatherford, OK.
Storms begin forming near Wheeler, TX at around 2pm.
