Early morning bow echo moving through the northern plains into the upper Mississippi River valley. Winds gusted up to 69kts at KABR at 402 am, and gusted up to 75kts at KDXX at 613 am. One hellacious storm and a great looking progressive derecho. It has to be producing some incredible crop and tree damage.

Better add Wisconsin and Iowa to this list now, and could become Northern Illinois, particularly the Chicagoland area watching this track. SPC meso 1974 was classifying this as a derecho and there have been 84-84 mph wind gusts reported.
