I observed a flash flood on a mountain creek today! The creek went from clear and low to muddy and flooding in about 1 minute. The creek was the Little Mulberry River which is the main tributary of the Mulberry River (actually its about the same size as the Mulberry at their confluence). Here are a few pics. The pictures show the rise difference just before and after less than a minute later. The other picture shows the flood waters mixing with the previously clear waters.
