Just leaving home. Some severe storms we are under now, just the regular hail and wind. I am getting meso indicators. Some nice lowerings too. SPC says watch unlikely.

Towers on the windshift line went up right over me in Buffalo, MN. Looks like junk as moisture starved. Another non-event for MN.

Well, we are sitting at the party now.. Saw some nice lowerings, and saw some very heavy rain. Nothing too big.. But glad we didnt stick with the waterloo target.. as of now at least:D

Edit: 5:04 PM I knew I would regret that.. Tornado warning near Dubuque

Little tornado spun up in a baby cell in extreme NW Iowa, briefly showed some mid-level rotation but that thing was small! Chicago issued lengthy TOR's on a storm just south of their radarsite but that one never looked too noteworthy, although yet another gustnado did some damage near Joliet. Can't imagine anything too organized will be an issue along the warm front through IL/IN.

We're moving east of out Decorah right now watching a grungy CU field but losing much hope as we are getting into some bad chase terrain and nothing wants to fire.

Exactly 100kts GtG on the TOR in NW Ohio, formed right along the front and had been showing weak unorganized rotation until it really flared the past scan. Can't imagine it keeping that up too long...
