5/23/08 NOW: KS/NE/CO/OK/WY/SD

Looks like the Greensburg cell might be going through occlusion and pulling northwest, but the southern cell that merged with it may take over. The second cell looks like it could take direct aim on the new GB itself.

This is the cell that I was saying Greg Stumpf was on since it formed (or close to it). Great job staying on the storm. I'm sure he'll have incredible information. The SRV data showed returns that represented huge, potential wedge sized tornadoes. Will be interesting to see what he saw.

The cell in NW OK sure has gotten better organized over the past half hour. All of the OKC stations have been showing intermittant funnels/small tornado for a while. As Gary England just pointed out, those wind turbines nearby are generating a lot of electricity.

KWTV reporting minor wind damage in Ft. Supply.

EDIT: Large funnel (tornado if using 50/50 rule) live on Channel 9 if you're in OKC.

I was just going mention the Gate to gate shear SW of Greensburg is very impressive indeed ! I thought I was mistaken..and a VIL of 80.. ! Not good indeed..

Indeed, the GB cell is cycling. It looks like the parent cell is just ingesting the sup that came in from the south. New circulation developing ENE of the original circulation. It may move "JUST" west of GB based on radar movement. This one may be close...

Large tornado confirmed on the ground by 2 sources just southwest of Greensburg!!! Keep a good though for these folks....

EDIT: 2 more reports stating "large and dangeorus tornado on the ground".

Anyone else notice that the cell on Greensburg and the one north towards Hays appear to have stalled slightly? The last couple of scans show the cells and couplets not moving very much.

I hope and pray that the cell in Greenburg is not hammering them with a tornado... :(
