A tornado reported in far northern CO crossing into WY straight south of Cheyenne. Other storms struggling to go up on the Palmer Divide. Looks like the day is beginning.

5/18/2010 NOW: TX, CO, WY

It looks like things are starting to heat up a bit with confirmed tornadoes spotted from the same storm in Colorado and Wyoming. The storm in Hartley County Texas is starting to look like it may be trying to get its act together as well. We may start to see things popping in the TX, NM, OK area very soon. I swear, it seems like there is almost one tornado warning in Laramie County, WY every single outbreak.

Or mine. :D

I'm not really seeing good parameters for the WY storm to be long lived, but it is just south of a populated area (Cheyenne) and tracking straight for it.

The one I have my eye on is the cell in Hartley County Texas... GRLevel3 is estimating 2.50 inch max hail and the storm looks to maybe be wrapping up and starting to rotate.

Hartley County Cell is now Tornado Warned... I would imagine there are a few chasers that may be in good position to intercept that cell. Could end up being a beauty, although I'm very familiar with the terrain in that part of TX. The hail core on that thing looks ridiculous.

umm anyone else having problem with GR displaying warning. I had no idea that the storm in Texas was tornado warned.

Mods: delete if necessary. I am just wondering if it was on my end or a servers.
