A tornado warning is in effect for Tioga County in NC PA, nice looking cell although it is quite small. Moving east at 30MPH, if it can sustain itself without becoming linear then within the next few hours Scranton could be in for some of the action as well as Binghamton, NY.

New tornado warned storm west of Binghamton, NY. I have a lot of family that lives just west of town there and if the current track of the couplet would take it very close to those areas. Though it is small has a nice little hook on it and decent couplet. Pretty interesting stuff seeing this out in the northeast!

Early reports of possible Tornado damage in Madison county.

I was out around Oswego and Cayuga counties and got pounded a few times.
If we had some open clear skies to heat things up longer earlier today things
would have been much worse. We had pretty much all the other ingredients
today but lacked enough instability. Areas south of the thruway and from
the Finger Lakes east and south definitely had the most potential.

Of course it wasn't until I got home that the Madison county storm was tor warned.
I should have gone straight south through Syracuse.
