Nothing special but this is what the meso looked like as it crossed 82 west out of Seymour near Red Springs. About 10 minutes later the cold front undercut, the cell became elevated, and within 30 minutes was nothing but a mess in the sky.

MODS, please add Arkansas to the Thread title.

I started my day off not expecting to see much as I went to pick up my Jeep from the shop as they had just finished with it that morning. I then had to run to Garvette, Ar on a errand where I fired up my Laptop and saw the svr warned cells moving from Oklahoma to my home county (Benton) in NW Ark were going to pass just south of me so I dropped south on Hwy 59 to Gentry, Ar where I attempted to core what my nowcaster and I believed to be quarter to golfball sized hail only to park directly under the vill bulls eye and get heavy rain. I stayed under the vil bubble and followed it towards Hyfill, Ar where the hail stayed elevated until it reached I-540 and began to dump. I came in right behind it and followed it to the lake where I found some stones that were the size of tea cups (3.00 inches). From there I collected a few photos and some video and then saved a few stones to take to the news station and on my way I happened to be at the right place at the right time and intercepted the tornado warned cell that passed over Fayetteville, Ar and followed it towards Goshen, Ar where I streamed a very low and well pronounced wall cloud until it finally fell apart as the cell cycled. I had to briefly stop to refuel then I jumped back in my Jeep and gave chase until I got back into the cell near Huntsville, Ar where I punched the core and RFD to find very strong straight line winds and large hail that added to the number of dents allover my vehicle's body and cracked my windshield. After loosing the storm in the terrain and seeing the day light start to fade I turned around and made my way back to the station only to stop and film numerous flash floods that were pouring onto the side roads and the highway I was on and no even though the highway I was on was flooded in some areas I was able to detour around floods with out having to try and go through them. I finished my night with a in studio interview during the 9pm news on FOX24 and a 10pm on air interview on KNWA. Video will be posted soon but until then here are some pics of the hail and a map of my chase.

Got on the first storm south of Haskell, TX and got some great timelapse footage of the rotating wedding cake. Also saw the quick spin of dirt directly under the rotating wall cloud further south near Stamford.

Ended up later by Lake Stamford on a late firing storm with some great lightning!

The timelapse video on my blog:

and a few more pics there too

Chased the Seymour, TX Supercell...at it's peak it had a ground-scraping wall cloud and some decent motion. But the front caught it and that's all she wrote. Here are a couple of pics from the storm when it peaked and then on it's downhill LP slide.
