Trailer park reported hit south of Little Rock, people trapped... per Channel 4.

TWC just went to their Movie programming... tune to local wx for information if needed.

W.

Supercell to the east of Arkadelphia now showing intense, tight, gate-to-gate shear (> 100 kts). Looks like it's taking the same track as the storm to its northeast that tracked across the east side of Little Rock. They may be in store for another hit...

Numerous reports of significant damage and destruction on E/NE side of Little Rock. People trapped in homes, power lines down.....reports still coming in, stand by

There are heavily populated areas around Belleville, IL that are still threatened. However, it does appear that downtown St. Louis and the northern and western parts of the metro will be spared. This is very fortunate since Busch Stadium was full of people. KMOV is reporting that many have left the stadium and headed for their cars, despite signs telling people to take cover in designated areas of the stadium. If this had hit downtown, it would have been a real disaster.

confirmed deaths in scottland per arkansasmatters.com/

People are being evacuated in Busch Stadium in St Louis, they are moving them into concourses but people are headed outside

Hmmmm. Reminds me of the derecho that hit Wrigley Field a couple of summers ago!

I have KMOX on right now, and so far just heavy rain and prolific lightning at Busch Stadium. It looks like the most dangerous part of the storm passed just south of the downtown area. However, St. Louis city still under a tornado warning until 9:45.

The Chicago area is still under tornado watch until 10 PM, but mainly gusty winds and heavy rain right now.

Edit: never mind that. Circulation still moving ne. Another storm to the sw of lzk will pass just s of current DMG path which will hamper rescue efforts for sure.

Edit x 2: actually could be seeing two separate circulations now. You can't tell these things precisely on radar bout we could be seeing a hand off of sorts with what appears to be the old circulation just sw of what might be a new area. Will take a few more radar scans to really tell if that's thie case. Got some guys getting in there close on spotternet...hope they know whats in there :o

Seventeen injuries in the town of East End South of Little Rock.

The T storm 60 miles SW of LIT will be move in to Litlle rock in in about 60 mintues.

The storm that affected the Little Rock area continues to have a well defined hook echo and strong rotation. A possible tornado was now located about 1 mile southeast of Beebe, AR or about 16 miles southwest of Kensett, AR as of 9:38pm CDT. It should be near West Point and Kensett, AR by about 10:06pm CDT.

Another storm with a possible tornado was located near Poyen, AR or about 17 miles south of Benton AR as of 9:42pm CDT. Unfortunately, if this storm holds together, it will affect the Little Rock area within an hour.

EDIT: The storm with a possible tornado in Saline County was located about 4 miles southeast of Shannon Hills, AR or about 11 miles south-southwest of Little Rock, AR as of 10:19pm CDT. The possible tornado will be near Little Rock Airport by about 10:40pm CDT if it holds together.

multiple tornado warned supercells may affect the little rock area, including areas hard hit.

Tornado warned cell near sheridan will move over area where tornado hit within 1 hours

Tornado warned cell just south of that storm following along just to the sw of aforementioned storm

tornado warned cell near glenwood may affect nw and northern suburbs of little rock

The nearest of the two velocity couplets still headed toward Little Rock is losing definition on all tilts. The second still looks fairly healthy but it looks to be heading pretty close to the cities southern fringes, with perhaps a miss?

Although it appears quite a bit of damage has already been done.
