I was watching Verne's stream of a tornado or gustnado of some kind Michael C. is giving him a call to find out!

It looked like a dusty tornado without any condensation to the ground. Seconds before the surface swirl of dust formed, there was a lowering and a funnel it looked like right above it.

Wow, I have not been on here in a while. Anyway, fantastic day of boundary interaction and supercell splitting on the dryline. That OFB/Dryline boundary intersection near Floydada, TX appears to be pinwheeling southward a bit. I wonder if it will initiate more convection and cause more tornadoes! Its really awesome to see some of the supercell morphologies at work. From looking at the radar today, there appears to have been all supercell types, and lots of left splits too. It's awesome how the tornadic right movers slowly drift along while the left split hailers zip off to the NE at 40mph!

I would imagine there is GREAT structure on some of these storms!

Ummm, he drove through the remnants of it!

That boundary interaction north of Lubbock continues to kick off storm cells, but they appear to be disorganized. Now the storm is developing into a bow echo as it absorbs storms from the southwest. Watch a cold pool develop and that thing will rocket southward!

That meso on Phelp's cam is spectacular. It reminds me of 5/22/07 near Hill City, KS. Great wedding cake structure, but yes, it is high based. Judging by the radar, the storm appears to be accelerating southward just a bit. Still has a great radar presentation with a good hook. I don't like all the precip in the updraft though.

LOL, Mike showing golfball hail to the viewers.
