4/22/10 NOW: CO/TX/OK/KS

I can confirm...It was a nice sized cone with a brief satellite which wrapped around the back. Both roped out after a few minutes, and hit open range land. It was beautiful...pic on my website in the real-time chase tab. Good start of the day!

Denver Metro got a nice little wake up call with a brief funnel/torn warn storm on the south east side of the city. not even in the SPC slight category, but the front range always likes these types of set-ups.

Mikey Gribble is streaming a nice wall cloud in the OK panhandle right now.

Very nasty velocity signature on the storm WSW of Lakin, KS right now. Probably a strong mesocyclone in there. Too far from KDDC to tell if there's anything tornadic with it, though.

ADD: Some wicked chaser convergence in the eastern Texas panhandle right now:

Ben McMillan has a nice stream (with sound) of a wall cloud that keeps producing funnels near Boydston, TX. Storm is tornado warned -- radar presentation is a bit confusing, but a hook is forming.

*edit* tornado on the ground live on this stream now.

Tyler Constantini had a nice large wedge on his stream on the KS storm sw of Scott City.

Those in Scott City heads up. Looks like they are in the crosshairs, as that storm has put down a few tornados and is headed right for Scott City. Storm looks to be elongating a bit, but there is still a consitent couplet over the last many scans.
