3/6/10 DISC: Victoria Australia

My daughter who is currently living and working in Melbourne called to tell me that an hp supercell clobbered the city and suburbs producing golfball sized hail, heavy rains and significant damage. She said the main cell showed "rapidly rising clouds and rotation".

I started this thread with the hope that one of our Australian members or perhaps someone with more information on the meteorology of the event will fill in some of the details. The pics came from my daughter - I am not sure of the source. Bob
