I headed out of Kansas City with Taylor Wright and Jacob Asherman around 3:30 for our target area of Yates City to Eureka Kansas. We debated a bit with the Northern play that had all the risks per the SPC but we choose where we felt the best tornado chances actually were at.

Initiation happened around Matfield Green along I-35 and a few more cells popped up to the South that that. We got on the our cell and watched it from a high point in the Flint Hills until CG's got very close. We ended up calling in reports and following it all the way into and through the town of Eureka where the last of 3-4 tornadoes ended our day. We went back into town and asked to help in any way but LEO's and firefighters had it under control.

Here are a few photos with the power flashes being screenshots from Taylor's video.

Admins feel free to add states if other reports come in.
