2012-11-09 REPORTS: CO - Winter thunderstorm with graupel and CG lightning

On Friday northwest of Pagosa Springs, CO, I observed a winter thunderstorm with a heavy burst of graupel (snow pellets) and a considerable amount of close CG lightning. Managed to get one bolt on video:

Nice catch. Those day time lightning captures are an exercise in frustration at times ... and with snow on the ground. that's my kind of photo op but I'm homebound for a time.
 
Were you shooting blind or running a lightning trigger? I've had mixed results using a lightning trigger during daytime conditions with false triggers often tying up the camera when the better flash occurs. Was that a video capture? if not, mind sharing the ISO, aperture and shutter settings you were using for that particular shot?

I believe he stated in his post that it was a video capture.
