Storms just now beginning to show rotation southwest of Oklahoma City.

A manually-constructed hodograph using the Purcell profiler and representative surface observations appears as such, with 0-1 km SRH in yellow.

Storm motion is diagonal to the grid roads with a ground-relative vector 40 kt, so looks like not very chaseable. Overall, not a whole lot of instability but we do have that critical 0-1 km SRH in place. I hope Oklahoma stays safe today.
 
Took a look at the 18Z sounding and saw we're pretty uncapped. Looks like cell competition will be keeping the severe weather in check.
