2011 Road Construction and Detour Thread

US-287/387 has a four mile stretch of one way traffic with a pilot car starting about two miles south of the Colorado/Oklahoma border going towards Boise City. Looks like this construction will last the rest of the summer. There is also road construction just southeast of Boise City for about a mile. The last piece on that road is about a ten mile section of US-287 south of the Oklahoma/Texas line towards Stratford Texas.

Be aware of high water along the Poudre River in Larimer and Weld County today (Colorado). Some bridges are closed west of Greeley. NWS advisory:
" 71ST AVENUE...83RD AVENUE...AND 95TH AVENUE
NORTHWEST OF GREELEY HAVE BEEN CLOSED. COUNTY ROAD 17 HAS ALSO BEEN
CLOSED NEAR WINDSOR."
Hwy. 34 is down to one lane both east and westbound (construction) at the 34/85 interchange.

Highway 34 just east of Akron in NE Colorado is down to one lane for a few miles; i was stuck behind the flagman for 10-15 minutes the other day.
