2002-05-07: Southern Kansas Outbreak

In a relatively drab tornado year, May 7, 2002 was a great chase day for many chasers. A single supercell produced 17 tornados, including 3 F3s, in southcentral Kansas. This was our 2nd tornado while chasing.
