The storm that just passed Hernando in NW Mississippi is starting to look interesting. Small and thin storm, but a bit of a hook starting to develop it seems. Memphis should be on the look out.

Finally, a TOR warning goes out for the one on the east metro of Memphis! Those cells in TN are now starting to become strongly rooted. Isolated cells rapidly intensifying over much of western Tennessee and even into W Kentucky...

TWC on-air met just said that a tornado has been reported NE of Bartlett on the east side of Memphis. According to spotter network, that's the area where Tony is.

Ah, I see it in the text now - near Bartlett. I don't envy folks trying to keep up with those storm motions in a populated area! Storm NW of Grenada looks pretty impressive now.

Tornado was reported near Bartlett, Tennessee. Tough to judge this storm on radar, however, for a while there GRLX was throwing out some rather strong MXSHR values for TVS icons on this storm. (240 ks at one point -- not something I've seen too often)

Apparently something is up...

Nice looking cell ahead of the mess in C Arkansas just east of Russellville. Cell showing very nice hook and quite strong couplet wouldn't be surprised to see that cell produce soon especially since it is so discrete.

Well...this is much more of a later show then i thought..with things just now really starting to get going..its getting dark now too so..

Scott Currens is near a monster storm NW of Little Rocks, 139kts GtG! GR2AE has a high-TVS (red) which is very rare, and I've never seen that not result in something big...

JF Massicotte and Allan Theunissen (QcVortex on spotternetwork) are telling me on instant messaging that they are seeing a tornado on the ground. Tony seems to be on this one too. That cell is just northeast of Memphis

Two of the Little Rock TV stations say they have reports of a tornado near Atkins (SE of Russellville). State Police have been notified to check the area for damage. They are en route.

A close family friend had the funnel cloud go right over her house while it was developing in E. Memphis, about 2 miles SW of Bartlett. Shingle and limb damage she stated so far.

Yes, I've been watching this cell develop for about an hour now. Looks like it has the total package - sharp velocity couplet, consistent TVS signature and classic shape with a BWER. Being out in front of the other storms, looks to have very good prospects to sustain itself.

154kts Gtg north of Little Rock! Tornado being tracked on the ground, looks like road network + speed left Scott behind...
