Nice bit of research done here on a local tornado that happened prior to official weather maps and when local records were sparse. Using historical records the authors were able to correct the erroneous location of the tornado as previously reported, provide a likely path and recreate the conditions that likely occurred that day and the possible mechanism for the storm and tornado. I found the newspaper articles interesting, not as much for the subject matter but for how they were written. Definitely a reflection of a different time.
