Scattered storms have initiated in N MO/S IA. One particular storm between Mt. Ayr and Leon, IA looks more intense than others. Watching radar reflectivity over the last hour shows the storm has taken a slight right hand turn. The environment is favorable for supercells in that area, and there is also sufficient low level shear and CAPE for tornadoes to be possible.
 
May add Texas to the title of this thread as two very strong embedded supercells have formed south and southeast of Dallas with strong couplets. Ric Burney (streaming @ chasertv) is currently on the westernmost cell. Velocities on these two storms were and still are extremely strong on radar. I was on these storms earlier as they passed to the west but they didn't seem to want to organize, kicking myself now :D
