10/01/2006 Report: WI lightning

Was out for 4 hours tonight watching some great lightning. These pics were all taken in Fond du Lac county, Wisconsin. (BTW I know my sensor is dirty)

What a night!

The date for the thread really should be Oct 2, since it all occurred after midnight. I also was out for 4 wonderfully electric hours. My pictures were taken on the north side of the heavy rain-producing complex in far southern Outagamie county and far northern Winnebago county. Here are a few pictures.
