• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

 OK, now I am officially pi$$ed- I drove home today.....this happens a lot where the best tornadoes occur right when I leave....the worst was June 8, 2005 (Pampa, Allison). In any event congrats on a great storm/tornado. At least I saw the April 26 and June 6 tornadoes.....

You're pi$$ed. Try being 25 miles from the storm at the Elm Creek exit and missing the entire show. Kinda hard to top that one.

Radar Images from Aurora Tornado

I found some radar images relating to the Aurora NE tornado 06-17-09:

http://www.crh.noaa.gov/news/display_cmsstory.php?wfo=gid&storyid=28856&source=0

The following two images are radar shots showing the hook echoes:

I was up until 11 p.m. watching the storm on radar to see if it continues on Hwy 34 which will wind up in Lincoln NE. Fortunately the storm died out in Seward County at about midnight.

Congrats to all who chased and got great shots!! :D

Hey, does anyone know who AJ Fable is, the guy screaming his head off on the CNN iReport video of the Aurora tornado? The Nebraskan newspaper I work for wants to contact him since apparently he's a Nebraska chaser. Can't find hide nor hair of him here on Stormtrack or in on any of the chaser email lists I subscribe to.

Is that the guy that faked the tornado last year and sold the video to the AP? I remember that last name because someone said it was Fable's Fable.

i had to sit this one out(and today's) bc of a car accident i was in that caused $10,000 damage to my $2500 car:eek: the worst part is the lady ran the red light while i was making a turn in front of her, and somehow i'm at fault:mad: i almost took the wifes car out though, kinda wish i had now. great job though by everyone that was there. at least i got to see alot of live video feeds

Yes, its the same guy. Apparently the media is over the fact that he faked the video last year because TWC used his Aurora tornado video.

Good day all,

LOL man ... I feel IT too (the angst, ballz-tingling anger) ;-(

This week June 12-20 was blocked for my cancelled May 21-June 1 chase trip. The last weekend boss has us doing sys upgrade and said "no" to the trip as she went on 5 day cruise THIS week of all weeks.

2009 has NOT been a very nice year to some.
