June 4 was a strange day. Around 6:15p.m. I noticed a TVS icon on GR3 in the middle of Clay county. The cell looked to be wrapping up on the western end. Around 6:30-6:35 a tornado warning was issued for Clay county. Strong rotation is evident in the Circle Point area. We set out around 7:00p.m. and did try to catch this cell but realized it was moving far too rapidly southeast, and opted to intercept the next inbound activity near Spencer. Of course, good ole Indiana weather made sure we didn't have any fun as it died off before we even made it to Spencer. Still, by the time this "crappy looking" cell made it to Spencer, it made for some very serious looking formations, lowering and scud.

As of this moment, the NWS states a touchdown occured three miles southwest of Circle Point in Clay county at 1830 hours.
