• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

I started my day early around 1630z.

The first storm popped up just to my south east near Hastings, MI. I decided to head out after it. As i neared the base it was of course elevated. The anvil looked nice but not nice enough to take any pictures. I then Had to make a decision. To stop going after this one and head back west to see what the cell was going to do over Lake MI. So I head to the lake and get down to South Haven, and find an area to park briefly over looking the lake. For some odd reason the picture is junky but its the only one i took.

My Wife and I moved inland east of South Haven. Just a few shots.

I Though the farm equipment was a descent fore ground

Then i observe and inflow band which i wish was a tornado or at least rotating but it wasn’t.

And just another picture of the outflow dominant storm

We then headed to 131 and headed north from Otsego. We paralleled the gust front all the to Grand Rapids. We stopped and ate supper at the Panera in Kentwood. Pea size hail and at least 45mph winds. It was severe warned. I get home a half hour after that and see a tornado reported 20 minutes east of me. This storm was so outflow that I am suspicious but I won't discount fully.

Mods...please add MN.

An unconfirmed report of a cold air funnel touching down prompting a torn warning but never saw anything even remotely close to being actualy tornadic. Did have some fun getting cored by small hail a couple of times. Lots of SLCs to keep the spotters on edge just west of the Minneapolis metro area and my personal quest for a northwest moving tornado from a closed low continues.
