I don't have anything significantly meteorological to add, thus the DISC thread, but man, those Oklahoma storms, what a night. I was awakened at about 2 am by a crash of debris against the house, and looking at the OU-PRIME radar I saw those storms near OKC kicked one heck of a boundary southward. Then for the rest of the night we had discrete cells training over the OKC-Norman area. Every time I was woken up and checked the radar it looked almost exactly the same as far as cell positioning.

I logged 2.74" in my 4-inch rain gauge here in eastern Cleveland County.

OKC metro fire depts. reported as many as 7 home fires caused by lightning strikes. Edmond/NOKC were hammered by 4 training waves of Tstorms last night... glad there was no more hail... still waiting to get the house fixed from 5/16. Had about 2" in the gauge in NW OKC.
