A brief chase of opportunity--I intercepted the bow at 5:35CDT as it crossed north Madison County, AL. Got a nice position between precip shafts and shot video of an updraft area that exhibited two spots of short-lived rotation, one going nearly overhead, just south of my position. The line had been tor-warned for Madison (AL) and Giles and Fayette (TN) counties. Outflow winds looked like about 55mph at peak--didn't see hail.
I'd enjoy staying out, but must report to work at 6pm--late already...
Didn't even burn a whole gallon of gas--very nice.
