Nowcasting for Mark Humphries, hes just SE of Macksville, hes confirming very strong rotation and a funnel cloud.

Hook echo looks to pass just east of Seward Ks ..very large hail around Seward indicated..Very Strong Rotation still indicated !

A significant tornado apparently went through Sweetwater, OK between 8-8:30 pm with considerable damage, including to the high school. Cell is moving into Ellis County now still looking like its probably producing a tornado.

Is it just me, or is the dryline surging E through the TX Panhandle?

This feature interacting with the LLJ a little later tonight -- more storms into W OK?

Check this out! A very nicely isolated supercell with a wicked hook echo is roaring through Dewey Co., OK attm. At 10:57 p.m. CDT storm spotters reported a tornado on the ground just southwest of Vici, OK, moving straight into town. Unfortunately the tornado is in all likelihood passing through Vici as I type this. Hopefully they've all sought shelter as the couplet is extremely intense and that tornado is probably strong, if not violent. The circulation should track directly across the town of Mutual in about ten minutes, and eventually threaten Waynoka and Alva in about a half hour to an hour.

Update: At 11:17 p.m. spotters reported a large, damaging tornado had passed through Vici and was currently located 5 miles south/southeast of Sharon, moving northeast at 25 mph. The warning mentions that the tornado will pass through or just west of the town of Mutual and residents need to seek shelter immediately! This looks like an extremely dangerous situation for eastern Woodward County and southwestern Woods County.
Extrapolating the current path, if the tornado remains on the ground, it should pass through Mutual shortly, then track just southeast of Quinlan, clip extreme northwestern Major Co., roar into Woods County and pass perilously close to Waynoka. Beyond that, the circulation would track northwest of Hopeton and southeast of Alva and eventually move into southern Barber Co., KS, threatening Hardtner and Kiowa. This supe already has a history of producing multiple tornadoes and is in a prime environment to sustain itself (75/72 TD reading at Watonga Airport!) for quite some time. This tornado may very well wind up being a violent, long track affair and it may very well not be the last tornado of the night from this extremely impressive, long track, cyclic supercell.

Edit 2: Large tornado continues to be reported and indicated on doppler radar basically right on top of the town of Mutual as of 11:26 p.m. CDT. The circulation will pass directly through or just a hair north of Mutual, crossing 183 and 270 in the process.

Edit 3: Tornado now reported to be 12 miles southwest of Quinlan, moving northeast at 25 mph, heading straight for town. If it continues on its current path, after it's through with Quinlan, Waynoka is going to take a near or direct hit from this tornado! Geez, whadda horribly rough night for the entire Central Plains. I think the daylight is going to reveal much destruction from TX to SD. I just hope the number of fatalities stays low. Lord knows we've had enough of those already this year. :(

Tornado warning out for Northern gray county in Texas, will be near pampa about now. the radar out of Amarillo is pretty cool with the dry line exploding. the storms near claredon and silverton trying to get their act together showing some signs of rotation, will eventually move close to mclean

It seems like a surging cold front has intersected the dryline and fired off the storms now in the TX Panhandle. Definitely a few storms that'll need to be watched as the night goes on. I sure hope we don't have anymore significant tornadoes roll through towns tonight...could be disastrous :(
