Supercell NW of Coldwater is developing a good hook as is storm SW of Great Bend.. Both have VIL in the 70s..Be careful out there.

EDIT2: For those w/ GR3 or GR2/GR2AE --> Load up http://www.spotternetwork.org/grlevelx.txt . It's a good way to see which chasers are on which storms (only those chasers running SpotterNetwork will show up on there). I just starting running SpotterNetwork, and it's a useful (and interesting) tool!

I have GR3. How do I load this up...step by step. where and how. I am kind of computer illiterate. Lol.

Bob Kotcher is looking at a rotating wall cloud just N. of Seward, KS (3-5 miles north) about 6:50 PM. He was seeing at least a funnel out of it when I got off the phone with him, but he could not tell if the first funnel touched down. With the reports of tornadoes SW of Great Bend, I'm guessing he is seeing the tornadoes in that storm.

Circulation also indicated north of Coldwater, KS and possible rain-wrapped circulation in Greensburg, KS.

Cell just south of I-40 in the eastern TX Panhandle has definitely been getting its act together over the last few radar runs as it is pushing 60dbz. Movement is NNE at ~30-35mph.

passing thru coldwater ks....followed huge supe north as far as we cld due to greensburg damage...had some nice rotation near protection ks but no nado

Tornado emergency was issued for Great Bend, with a confirmed tornado just outside town. Hopefully the town was spared. But the area of concern moved pretty much right over the city.

Trying to get on the cell in roger mills/ellis county. I am north of it in Shattuck again. Gonna head NE on highway 15 to try and get on the right position on it.

Tornado warnings for Beckham County OK and Colliningsworth and Wheeler County TX. Both are spotter indicated. The Beckham storm is near Texoma and Erick, the TX storm is near Shamrock

Polite Notice to posters

The signal to noise ratio in todays NOW thread has gone through the roof!

Remember - One line posts are forbidden.

Posts along the lines of “I am sitting in XXX and thinking of moving to XXXâ€￾ adds NOTHING to the information pool.

Chasers in the field don’t want to read through page after page of “chatâ€￾ they want bare facts with information attached.

Strongest couplet of the day now near Hopewell County, Kansas heading into Strafford County. I hear it's a grunge fest however with lots of rain so while I'm fairly confident a tornado is on the ground, no one is seeing it at this point.
