04/18/06 NOW: IA/MO/IL/AR/TX

Talked to Dick again; he saw the funnel very close to his position near Chillicothe and they got pounded by baseball-sized hail. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Now the storm looks to be backbuilding a bit and they are dropping S.

New TOR warned storm in missouri. This storm looks to be staying south of saint louis.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH STRONG ROTATION OVER ROSEBUD...MOVING EAST
AT 30 MPH.

Here in Iowa I watched as severe storms capable of producing destructive winds and large hail came through Jasper and Marshall counties but all I saw was gusts in the 30 MPH range and lots of deadly cloud to ground lightning. The storms crapped out just before newton :(

Hope the storm in missouri does not start moving north east or saint louis could be under the gun. Looks to stay moving east with the front.

EDIT: AT 1037 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A TORNADO OVER NOSER MILL...MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

This storm has a classic hook with it and is huge on the radar. Last check shows the storm moving southeast of saintlouis. Thank the lord this storm did not take aim at a big city. Still strong rotation with this storm.

IN ADDITION TO THE TORNADO...THIS STORM WAS IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
