Hi all,

I am not really fimiliar with satellite images and stuff, so I'd need some help here. We're working on optimizing of sat images for EU and I especially like this one:
http://rap.ucar.edu/weather/satelli...=large&endDate=20070613&endTime=-1&duration=0

Could someone tell me how this image is made? Is it only one channel 6.7 microns or is it maybe a combination of several IR/WV channels that image looks like that? Usually WV image is BW type or like the one on COD page.

Thanks for any help!

Looks like a standard water vapor image to me. I wouldn't be too concerned about the colors. You can assign a color scheme to any b/w image to bring out certain details. This is actually a fairly common color scheme for WV.
