• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

WeatherStudio Released!

Malwarebytes-anti malware has detected weatherstudio with a trojan.agent in

Files Infected:
C:\Program Files\PaulMarv Software\WeatherStudio\data\map_cache\p37cr\cellattr.exe (Trojan.Agent) -> Quarantined and deleted

It is definitely a great looking product. However, I think it is way too bloated. The suggested system requirements are higher than Windows 7!

I can definitely imagine using it at home maybe, but I could never use something like this for chasing.

Don't think I'm bashing your product, because I do think it looks rather nice.

Yep, I've seen this reported before. I don't know what's causing it though. That specific executable is used for the legacy storm attributes parser and may as well be deleted from the entire release since it is more or less unnecessary, unless you prefer the legacy mode for some reason.

You don't have to worry about security - there are numerous download sites that have ran it through their detection systems and have received an all clear.

The suggested system requirements posted on the download page are as follows:
# 2.0 Ghz+ Processor with WinXP or Vista
# 2GB+ of free RAM.
# 150MB Free Disk Space
# High Speed/DSL Internet Connection

I don't know where you heard otherwise. Was it on our website? If so, let me know so I can get it fixed.

Yeah, those are the system requirements that I was referring to.

It is locking my computer up when loading the trial version. I have to hard boot to get running again.

I'm curious if anyone is using WeatherStudio and if there have been any upgrades/new features added to the software? I have done searches but it does not appear that any information has been posted in over a year.

I am not expecting WeatherStudio to replace my GR products or my Interwarn products, but I am interested in some of it's features.
