Vancover declares state of emergancy

Soggy doesn’t even begin to explain it. We have had so much rain in the past 48 hours; half the roads in my town are almost or completely flooded over. It's a pain trying to get to work, since the main highway is partially under water.

A Tropical Storm is feeding us all the moister via the Jetstream. We might get a bit of a break on Friday. Then it will be back to rain on Saturday.

Looks like the patter will change on the west coast and southren california can get some more storms!

What tropical storm? Looks like it is a 'Pineapple Express' pattern, but I don't see any indications of a tropical system upstream from BC. Did you read this somewhere? Just curious.

Yeah, Environment Canada has mentioned the tropical storm all week. The last system was siphoned off of the storm by the Jetstream and pushed up our way. Or at least that's what they been telling us. I think he tropical storm is/was located somewhere in the eastern pacific.

I don't know if this new system has anything to do with that or not.

it was tropical storm Kulap that affected Guam.

Looks like you Californians and Canadians are getting everything while leaving us poor Oregonians high and dry. We had one brief pineapple episode in early December (off an ex-typhoon) -- without that it would be a truly dry winter.
