• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Twister sisters storm chase show on WE

yeah the floating barrells was funny. Its great watching reactions to the local police in the smaller towns.

got to say loved the entire twister sister show!! all you guys did an awesome job!!! thanks for the entertainment

I watched all three episodes last night and for the most part I enjoyed them. I was annoyed by the various other tornado clips thrown in the mix while filming “the tornado” (5/22/07 in particular). I have to consider that this is for entertainment not education nor was it made for storm chasers but rather the general public.

I did like how they captured Bill and Cullen's relationship as father and son. My son is close to Cullen's age so that is touching. Cullen will be a damn good chaser when he gets older for sure. lol I loved how he made the scenes so dramatic lol I got a kick of him a few times.

loved the show myself. anytime theres storm footage on t.v. i'm watching. sometimes you just gotta throw out the soap opera crap and enjoy the scenery. as far as twister sisters goes it seemed pretty genuine except for the tornado clips thrown in for drama as mickey mentioned above. but i am sure the editors added that well after the show was actualy filmed and the sisters didnt know about it until it was on the air.

I just finished the last episode on my DVR. Overall, great show. I liked the enthusiasm by all the chasers involved in the show. For the general public, I think the different aspects of chasing were nicely shown. The audience definitely can experience the spirit of chasing. There was confusion, racing to catch up with the storm, arguing chasing partners, bust days, beauty of storms other than tornadoes, flooding, hail, waiting along with swarms of mosquitoes, deer and law enforcement. I got a good laugh with the Allsups burrito. Brings back memories. Yes, I was annoyed with other tornado footage that was not clearly labeled. To an average person, it wasn't clear how many miles were involved reaching the target area. Chasers generally don't start out chasing warned-storms hundreds of miles away. These are minor problems. I hope the show is repeated for 2008.
Kudos to the Twister Sisters and the other chase teams.

hey bill loved the chicken on the front of the truck!!!! makes me want to get a "mascot" for my next season.

Yeah, we have gotten lots of mileage out of it. Cullen thinks the thing is cursed but it was with on some decent days too.

From Cullen and I, thanks to everyone who watched the show and "got it". We knew it was going to have it's flaws and have a lot of creative editing but you have to admit it was entertaining most of the time. No one involved with the show got to preview or pre-screen any of the episodes or sequences so we were laughing and groaning right along with everyone else each week. (Eric shaking his belly in the Allsups sequence was just WRONG!) No word on a second season yet but we should hear something within the next 2 or 3 weeks.

I vowed to myself to stay out of these discussions, but.... So much for that resolution!

From a purely entertainment standpoint, I've enjoyed these. Bust days and all. Of course it's hard to place 3 or 4 days chasing into 45 minutes and still get the gist of things, but they seem to be doing a pretty good job of it. All of the characters have been played pretty well and so far, they've been "real" people that we all know and love so well.

On the technical, side, like anyone else, I could pick it to death. But you know something? That's kind of beside the point of the whole show. For what it's intentions are. It's a lot of fun to watch.

Keep on chasing!

Bill: I think you and Cullen steal the show every time. Love it! :D
