That is terrible. With the speed and depth of the moving water, even a young in-shape swimmer would have trouble staying alive in that. I wish the tv station hadn't replayed the video of the couple getting swept away. Something about that just didn't sit right with me. In all likelihood the old man probably didn't survive, and for the station to just keep rewatching it, seemed a bit tactless.
