Hey all I have a question I was looking for input on from that vast knowledge base here. I have only been chasing a few years now and have definitely found my interest. I was approached by a couple of my neighbors who were on the local Volley FD and had taken a spotter class there. I have since taken both of them on local chases and have been trying to teach them what I can.

My question is this: Who has the best or is there a great Video that shows different aspects of storm structure, cycle, etc. I know that Mike H has one but I was wondering how that was. I have limited video that I have taken and have some videos bookmarked that I have shown them, but I was looking for a great video, I have no problem paying for it, that I could use to show as a visual and have it explain or myself explain to them what they are looking at and such.

I know this is the place to get this info from so fire at will.

Thanks in advance

Mike's "101" video has been wildly-popular for several years, and to my knowledge, is the only remaining instructional/educational storm video still left. I know Gene Rhoden produced one back in the early 90s, but I have not heard or seen anything about it still being available for a long time.

Shane, thanks. I had looked at that one a few times and from what it looked like and what Mike has done/does with his imagery kind of made it seem like a no-brainer. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some off the radar hidden gem I didn't know about. I will order it up today.

Thanks Paul. It was actually for that type of deal I guess, it was made in large part for just all the non-chasers that end up on the site and wanted to learn about structure. Or just the most early beginner. I really really should redo it better in a sort of different format, like just talk on the thing with pointers and not use text. It was a true pain in the butt to put together as it was, so doing another one, well never gets too far into any planning. Most newer folks that get it seem to be able to learn a lot off it. Heck that was the other reason I put it together, just that stuff you learn and see that you wish you had understood earlier. But I just can't tell how well that works since I know the stuff now. Not that there is a ton to know.

Mike, Yea the guys I have been helping with this are just starting out. They have shown great interest and I am just trying to help them out. I figured there would be a video or 2 out there to help me. Sometimes a different person/approach can help people learn. I don't have a lot of great videos of certain structures/elements and am just trying to help them out. Hopefully I will get another chase partner out of this 1 guy is getting really into it and has borrowed my Storm Chaser Handbook so I feel he may be getting or has the bug. I already ordered it and am waiting for its arrival. Thanks!!!
