I like watching time-lapse video of cloud development and storms.
I find them educational. The fast motion helps to reveal what is
really going on in the atmosphere. I like this video. It's just fun to watch
the sometimes explosive convection and then the various types of shear. No real storms in this
video in fact at sunset it all dies down. Thought I'd invite people to post links to 2x or faster videos to this thread. Post especially if the video helps to illustrate a particular phenomenon. Perhaps comment on that.

Not the best video but HERE is a video of mine of a wall cloud south Fargo on August 5th, 2006. Not exactly sure what happens to it, but inflow gets cut off somehow. I think the video is 4x real time.

I agree, time lapse videos of storms are awesome, and can really help show whats happening in a storm.

Been thinking about TLs again

Here is my most popular Timelapse from youtube:

I'm trying to find how CS4 does time lapse, but I'll save that for another thread (I'm still searching threads).

Wow, forgot all about this thread. It's one year anniversary is on the 14th.

Wow, I can't top most of the great videos posted in this thread, but over the last two seasons time lapse storm video has become one of my favorite formats. I hope we all have some good long 2010 footage to speed up.

Here are a few of mine from the last two years.

3-26-09 near St. Jo, TX(Montague) - Time Lapse Supercell and small weak tornado.

Tornado 8X high speed - Ava, IL May 25, 2008

Time Lapse Highlights of 2009 Supercells

Time Lapse South-Central Illinois 6-19-09 - Inflow funnels and supercell moving east at sunset.

And one that is not time lapse, but a great accidental "caught on tape". This is where I got the video grab that is my avatar.

Lightning Bolt from Dash Cam 50 yards. Slow replay.
