I look forward to swapping with those of you who produced a 2008 vid. I've read lots of nice comments on these.

This DVD quickly jumped right up there among my favorites from 2008. He does an excellent job of utilizing the tripod, enabling for some absolutely stunning depictions of the years best supercells, just watch the first seven minutes of the DVD and you will clearly understand what I mean. You get to watch numerous tornadoes, many of which were large and from an excellent vantage point. He does a superb job of narrating his video, leaving no question when and where he is filming. He has the perfect video/music combination and the fact that he was clearly filming with a high quality video camera yielding great picture quality makes it easy to watch. It’s evident after 12 video productions, he has mastered the art of creating a chaser DVD; this is definitely a must have from the 08 selection. Definitely a DVD that I will keep in mind/learn from, if and when I decided to ever make another DVD.

After watching The Tower Rapunzel last night, all I can say is that Bill Reid might as well sell all of his cameras and other equipment.

Maybe he can place an ad in the Marketplace section here on Stormtrack because I can’t think of a way he can use his cameras to make a more perfect storm chasing DVD. It would probably take a ‘higher power’ to capture a better view of the motion and color of the storms. Bill has always liked the accompanying music to be a little on the fringe and it holds true in this instance, but it is just perfect for what he is presenting at the time. Even though it is a little over two hours in length, the time watching it passed all too quickly. I know I will be watching it over and over.

If you don’t buy or at least see this video, you will have missed a thrill.
