• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Photographs and account.

I started thinking back to march of this year and thought I would post a link up to my photos. as this is the only thread i found supporting my great blizzard of 2009!!
here is the link to all my photos. the pictures of the blizzard are on the top right.

Only problem is those are on myspace, which require signing in....which many are likely to avoid. Might see if there is another hosting option to share images (I think lots of folks use flickr here).

sorry. on that link i believe you do have to sign in. however, if you go directly to my myspace page and then to my pics you dont have to. try this.

then click on pics under my picture in the upper left corner. let me know if this works.
thanks

Pretty neat...good looking dog too.

thanks. the dog got stolen about 2 months ago while we were vacationing in branson, mo for a week. believe i have tracked the dog down but gonna have to use some law enforcement to get him back. glad that link worked. i have several of my storm chase photos posted there. I just see all of this "great" blizzard topic being talked about and it made me realize that the blizzard we had here in march 09 was a "Great Blizzard". With 33" at Pratt, ks and 33" recorded here in Coldwater I just forget how fortunate I was to experience that. although it probably only covered 1/100th of the area of the "Great Christmas Blizzard of 2009" I believe our march blizzard was everything and more than the recent one. in the thread of the (is the Chrismas Blizzard 2009"great?) My opinion is yes! absolutely yes. and for everyone that got to experience it, I wish they could have experinced the march 09 one as well. because for those of us around here that did get it in march, and loved it, to see "The Great Christmas Blizzard of 2009" miss us by 75 miles is one of my biggest weather disapointments. especially after spending 3 days in a blizzard watch with an early estimate of 12" of snow and not receiving a single flake.
hope everyone is safe and has a great new years. I'm gonna help my wife bake some pies this evening and start obsessing over the next weather system moving in on Tuesday night!! Dodge City nws saying 30% snow!! lol
