I wish my area would do more on this day for spotters. I may even look into coordinating something like a fish fry or a cookout something to bring spotters and the community together, heck maybe even a charity of some sort would be cool!

Had a great time this year, working just PSK31 on 80 and 20 meters. 80 was up all night and then 7:30 came rolling around. BAM, a huge opening to Europe. I stopped trying to get US stations because the waterfall was so dense with Euro/Russian stations. I managed 6 countries and 9 contacts shooting my signal over the pole. Grand total I think we had somewhere around 90 contacts.

It was a lot of fun and great to get across the Atlantic for the first time (for me).
