Just a kudos to Simon and Justin for their very well-done series on TWC. Unlike the manufactured drama on other chasing shows, their series presents a realistic and interesting view into storm chasing. I think we can all identify with them to some extent. I for one have enjoyed watching their documented chases over the winter. Makes it even more interesting that those guys occasionally post on the forum here. They seem like pretty decisive forecasters and then just get to the action. Best of luck to Simon and Justin in their future endeavors.

agree, I even like watching the reruns over and over again. Sure it gets old but it is still fun to watch. I love that they throw in explanation about different aspects of storm structure and make it so the general public can understand.

Also in joy that they post on here. Keep up the good work.

Agreed in everything said so far on "Storm Riders". It seems much more realistic in the sense not every chase they show results in a wedge like one other particular show. Also, the typical drama on a storm chasing show is replaced with actual educational bits.

Only complaint I have is its too short!! To really do this show justice, they should show an hours worth of footage. I would like to see 2-5 minutes allocated to their actual forecast each episode as well, but all in all its great and love seeing new episodes!!

I like the show as well. I really like how they chase like alot of folks do: with just a cell phone for data. (At least the episodes I have seen they just use a cell phone). They don't have million dollar setups with radar and or a tank. They are just a couple of good chasers doing what they love and doing it well. Hope the show lasts a long time.

The episodes I've caught are pretty good. They had a unique perspective of the Tuscaloosa tornado as it was still embedded in rain. I think the advantage they have over the other chase shows is they get the 30 minutes to themselves.

My friend Matt and I met them last year on a busted chase in Hoxie, KS. We talked for about 15 minutes and met their whole crew too. Very nice guys, told us how the show got started and how they "do" everything out in the field. I love watching their episodes too, especially the ones where I was out chasing too! Hope the show lasts a long time!

I enjoy the show, and if nothing else is on I'll watch the replays two or three times. What I enjoy the most about the show is what I don't hear, which are the over the top statements about each tornado and the !!!!!!! at the end of every sentence.

They will play up the drama from time to time....One tiny thing that nagged me was when you could hear the blaring tornado siren sound effect clean and loud when they were driving in the middle of the country with the windows up. Ooh spooky sounds.....lol

I remember that episode as well. I've noticed the zoom being used to make it seem they are closer than they really are as well. I do like it alot better though. Which is saying alot because I like the "extreme" style more but I couldn't handle all the scene changes, etc as well.
