Remove AddThis ?

Is there a way to get rid of the + that shows up on all the pages?

I don't see why this bothers so many people. It's not in the way at all for me, and has no impact on my browsing experience. Just my opinion though.

For starters I already have AddThis in my toolbar, for seconds I could never see doing this to a forum post, and for third - just because I wasn't aware others were unhappy with it too - I didn't see anything in my search.

I'm sure many don't have the AddThis in their toolbar, so it's a good addition. Second, I think ST is not about making one person happy, but trying to have a lot of different types of resources/variations for the members.

Problem solved - Google is my friend

Add the following to the customize section of AdBlock:

||addthis.com^
||sharethis.com^

PS If you don't have AddThis in your toolbar, I'd add it... It's a nice resource to have. http://www.addthis.com/browser-extensions
