Rapid supercell demise

I have read numerous chase reports regarding a tornadic supercell that dissipated very suddenly in Kansas on May 8, 2003 (the tone of the reports varies considerably based on whether the chaser saw the preceding tornado :wink: ). Has there been any case study/research into how/why this happened? Is there a radar loop of the storms available that shows this process?

Edit: Yes, I believe it was the Lawrence storm.

I believe you are talking about the supercell that eventually put down the tornado that hit Lawrence. Am I correct?
